Winfrey Barnes

Winfrey Barnes, 91, of Stony Creek, Virginia, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019. She was the widow of Robert Scott Barnes and was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Scott Barnes.
Mrs. Barnes is survived by a son, Walton Barnes (Donna), two daughters, Joy Bulls (Chet), Tina Withrow (Mark); five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Claudia Benjaminson (Tom); three brothers, Horace Wainwright (Nancy), Jack Wainwright and Bernie Wainwright and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 202o at Concord United Methodist Church. A reception will follow in the church social hall.
