William Boyd Poole

William B. Poole, 82, of Emporia, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Faison.

Mr. Poole is survived by his wife, Lori W. Poole; daughters, Cindy Browder (Gregg), Christel Gordon (Wade Kitchen), Elizabeth Justice (Philip) and Angel Poole and son, Ray Poole (Amy); seven grandchildren, Caitlin Browder, Madison Browder, Landen Poole, Emerson Poole, Brooks Letters, Caleb Justice and Aedan Justice; fourteen foster children, a sister, Nancy Reyes (Jose’) and an aunt, Mabel D. Mizelle.

Mr. Poole was a devoted husband, father, and “Pa”. He immensely enjoyed attending sports events his grandchildren were involved in and was extremely proud of all their accomplishments.

The family will schedule a memorial service at a later date.
