William David Moody

Mr. William David Moody, 78, of Emporia, passed away Friday, February 10, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie Moss and father, George Moody; a daughter, Melissa Edwards and grandson, Joshua Edwards.

Mr. Moody is survived by his daughter, Melanie Glisson; six grandchildren, Me’Kiyah Glisson, Zachius Glisson, Jurni Williams, Trinity Melton Perrine, Andrea Melton and Mikayla Edwards; two brothers, Roy Moss and Wesley Moss and two sisters, Pamela Gregory and Carolyn Harkness.

The family will receive friends 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, February 15 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia.

Interment will be private.
