Tommy W. Allen

Mr. Tommy W. Allen, 71, of Emporia passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Allen and his brother, Gene Allen.

Tommy is survived by two daughters, Tanya A. Zimmerman (Brian) and Tabitha Brooks (Ben) and son, Travis W. Allen (Kimberly); five grandchildren, Shane Allen,  Daniel Zimmerman, Charlie Brooks, Will Allen and Tyler Allen and a great-granddaughter, Phiona Morrison. He also is survived by his dedicated companion, Shirley Cooper.

The family will gather to receive friends for a Celebration of Life 1-2 p.m. Saturday, March 25 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
