Tommy Owen
June 4, 1944 — December 24, 2021
Thomas Barry “Tommy” Owen, 77, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021. He was the son of the late Guy and Bessie Owen and was also preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Jane Simmons, Rita Tillery, Rosalind Owen, Patricia Temple, and a brother, Glenn Owen.
Tommy is survived by his sister, Vivian Dunn; his brother, Ben Owen (Judy) and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 12 – 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 28 at Owen Funeral Home 303 S. Halifax Rd., Jarratt, Virginia followed by the funeral service graveside 2 p.m. at Owen Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 472, Jarratt, Virginia 23867.
