Shelvia Edwards Harrell

Shelvia Edwards Harrell, 87, of Capron passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Flossie Edwards and she was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard T. Harrell; sisters, Phyllis Beville and Barbara Story; brothers, Carl “Buck” Edwards and Sidney Ray “Speck” Edwards.

Shelvia is survived by two daughters, Donna Cluesman (Jerry) and Debbie Gilliam (Paul); five grandchildren, Chelsea Cluesman (Megan), Makenzie Brewer (Tyler), Chase Cluesman, Andy Gilliam and Wesley Gilliam (Jacqueline); three great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Briggs and Banks and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 5 at Joyner United Methodist Church where the family will receive friends one hour prior the service (1-2 p.m.). Interment will follow at Capron Cemetery.
