Roy M. Lambert

Roy M. Lambert, 90, of Emporia, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Lambert and a daughter, Beverly Lambert.

Roy is survived by two brothers, Marshall Lambert and John Lambert (Susan) and a sister, Molly Champagne (Alan); a step-daughter and caregiver, Randi Fajna (Tim); two stepsons, George C. “Skeeter” Holloway, III (Stacy) and Keith Holloway (Karla) and; three step-grandchildren, Kaitlin Holloway Howard (Kevin), Kelsey Joyner and James Fajna; and several nieces and a nephew.

The family will receive friends 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, June 3 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia. The funeral service will be held graveside 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 5 at Grace Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Grace Church Purdy, c/o  Pat Jones, 11254 Purdy Rd, Jarratt, Virginia 23867.
