Mr. Roy Keith Fleming, 65, of McKenney Virginia passed away Monday, January 26, 2026. He was the son of the late Roy Earl Fleming and Betty Spiers Fleming.
He is survived by a step daughter, Kristi Thrift Porterfield (Stuart), two grandchildren Caroline Scott Porterfield and Stuart Miller Porterfield, Jr. all of Richmond, Virginia ; sister, Carol Fleming Webster (Richard) of Dinwiddie; brother, Lawrence Clyde Fleming (Christie) of McKenney; Three loving nieces and a nephew; Elizabeth Webster Majewski (Richard) of Richmond VA, Rebecca Webster Ball (Casey) of Virginia Beach, VA; Lauren Marie Fleming, McKenney VA and William Roy Fleming (Saralynn) of Albany GA; Two great nieces; Addison Emmaline Ball and Avery Elizabeth Ball of Virginia Beach, VA. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 34 years, Dianne Barnes Fleming.
Keith owned and operated R. K. Fleming Mechanical for many years, proudly serving the community with plumbing and electrical services. He loved a good road trip, enjoyed time spent at his lake house with friends and family and especially cherished the years spent mud-bogging in “Big Henry,” where he made lasting friendships and unforgettable memories. An avid animal lover, Keith was deeply devoted to the many dogs who shared his life over the years.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 on Monday, February 2, 2026 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 South Halifax Road, Jarratt, Virginia 23867.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Concord United Methodist Church, 16703 Walkers Mill Road, Stony Creek, Virginia 23882.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dinwiddie Animal Shelter.
