Ronald Richard "Ricky" Blythe

Ronald Richard “Ricky” Blythe, 60, of Stony Creek, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022. He was the son of the late Carlton and Janice Blythe and was also preceded in death by his longtime companion, Wendy Gordon.

Ricky is survived by his son, Richard Anthony Blythe; daughter, Daisy Launderville (Andy); six grandchildren, Dylan, Angelina, A. J. , Megan, Ashley and Madison; two brothers, Carlton R. Blythe, Jr. (Burnette) and Raymond Murrell Blythe; sister, Hattie Marie Pearce (Ronnie) and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 23 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd., Jarratt, Virginia. The funeral will be held graveside 2 p.m. Thursday, March 24 at Emporia Cemetery.
