Robert E. "Moe" Williams

Robert E. “Moe” Williams, 71, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018. He was the son of the late Earl Louis Williams and Sarah Thackston Williams and was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Poarch Williams.
Mr. Williams was a retired investigator with the Sussex County Sheriff’s Department and Petersburg Police Department.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 25 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd., Jarratt, Virginia where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
