Phyllis I. Davis, 89, of Emporia, widow of Homer Davis, died Wednesday, March 13, 2019. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Whitby and husband, Jesse; her son, Tommy Cooper; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Glen Cash, Bill Cash and Roy Cash and numerous nieces and nephews. .
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 14 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd., Jarratt, Virginia.
The funeral service will be held graveside 2 p.m. Friday, March 15 at High Hills Memorial Cemetery, Kientz Rd, Jarratt, Virginia.
