Pamela Phelps Harrell

Pamela Phelps Harrell, age 64, passed away peacefully at her daughters home on September 1st, 2021.

Pam was born on June 26th 1957 and spent her childhood in Jarratt, Virginia. After graduating from Greensville County High School, she married her high school sweetheart, Mike. Together, they shared their love for Christ through music and ministry. Pam was a dedicated member of Antioch Baptist Church in Yale, Virginia. Her career was also a passion as Director Of Nursing for several Assisted Living Facilities. Her love for the geriatric population was admired by many.

Pam is preceded by death by her husband of 39 years, Michael (Mike) Wayne Harrell, brother Edward Randolph (Randy) Phelps, mother Virginia (Ginny) Low Deal, and father James (Jimmy) Edward Phelps. Left to cherish her memory are Aunt Pamela Phelps Darden, step mother Peggy Phelps, daughter, Abbey Harrell Webb (Jared Webb) of Yale, Virginia, son Thomas (Tommy) Wayne Harrell (Katherine Leigh Harrell) of Bumpass, Virginia, grandchildren Rylee Caroline Webb, Reagan Elizabeth Webb, Brody Harrup Webb, Karsen Meade Harrell, Bryson Wayne Harrell, and step-grandson Blake Ashton Jamison step-granddaughter McKenzie Ann Lennick, step grandson Joshua Taylor Lennick, beloved friend (whom she called son Joey Hartley (Mary Anna Hartley) and their daughter Julie May Hartley. She also leaves behind extended family to include multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Visitation will be held at Antioch Baptist Church in Yale, Virginia on Friday, September 3rd, 2021 from 12:30 - 2:00 pm. Her Funeral Service will be held at Anitioch immediately following visitation at 2:00 pm. A private Interment will be held following the service. Pam will be laid to rest with her husband at Grace Episcopal Church in Purdy, Virginia. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the “Children and Youth” of Antioch Baptist Church 20230 Peters Bridge Rd, Yale, Virginia 23897.
