Lucille Allen Jarratt

Lucille Allen Jarratt, 96, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Myrtle Allen. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Jarratt, two sons, Kenny and Wayne Jarratt and two sisters, Margaret Brantley and Lillie Reynolds.

Mrs. Jarratt is survived by her daughter, Judy Mitchell (Jeff Tisdale) and her son, Dwight Jarratt (Andi); daughter-in-law, Sandra Jarratt; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter

The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, August 28 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd., Jarratt, Virginia. Interment will follow at Fountain Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Foutain Grove Baptist Church or to the American Cancer Society.
