December 7, 1941 — June 13, 2022
James C. “Charlie” Thompson, 80, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Julia Rose Thompson; son, Kevin Thompson; two daughters, Melanie Bishop and Pamela Daughtry (David); grandchildren, Mary Fife, Justin Harrell, Hannah Lovell, Heather Lovell and Jesse Lovell and six great-grandchildren and a brother, Doug Thompson.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 17 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer’s Association or to Greensville Volunteer Rescue Squad.
