Helen Murray Greene

Helen Murray Greene, 92, of Emporia passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Murray and Vergie Duffy Murray and was preceded in death by her husband, Raiford Carl Greene, her brother, Ray Murray, sisters, Juanita Giles and Ailene Twiddy, grandson Jason Greene and son- in-law Dennis Bullock.

She is survived by her children, Cheryle Mingus, Nancy Bullock, and Bruce Greene (Linda) and by her grandchildren Debbie Derrick (Steve), Nancie Sasser, Kenny Sasser, Brian Bullock (Missy), Kevin Bullock Sr. (Tracy), Chip Greene, Lisa Delgado (Alex) and eleven great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren.

Thank you to the staff and employees at Greensville Manor, past and present for the wonderful care they gave her for 10 1/2 years.

A private graveside service in the family cemetery will be held per her request.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice or the local fire department or rescue squad.
