Geraldine W. Joyner

Geraldine “Gerri” W. Joyner, 86, of Valentines, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dempsey C. Joyner, Sr.; and two daughters, Wanda Patrice Joyner and Reba Lynn Joyner.

Gerri is survived by two sons, Dempsey C. “Chuck” Joyner, Jr. and Doug Joyner (Wendy); three grandchildren, Kelsey Renee Joyner, Tiffany Lee and Daniel Bryant; special granddaughter, Avery Bryant; great- grandson, Lee Barnes; and brother, Sammy Winfield (Beverly).

Her funeral service will be held graveside 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29 at Drewryville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Adams Grove Baptist Church.
