Catherine Acree Edwards

Catherine Lynn “Cathy” Acree Edwards, 52, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Sam and Judith Acree and was also preceded in death by a sister, Judith Walton.

Cathy is survived by two daughters, Ashley Nichole Lensey and Tori Walton; son, Dustin Cifers; bonus daughter and son, Jamie and Marcus Wall; grandson, Chanson Amir Jones “A. J.”; three sisters, Sherry Acree Temple (David), Terry Fajna Gutshall (Philip) and Phyllis MacClellan; numerous nieces and nephews and also a special friend, Karen Gates Taylor.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 5 at First Christian Church, 427 Ruritan Dr., Emporia, Virginia.
