Carolyn Wray Harrell

Mrs. Carolyn W. Harrell, 73, of Jarratt, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026. She was the daughter of the late John and Myrtha Wray and she was also preceded in death by two brothers, James Wray and George Wray.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Ollin B. Harrell, Jr.; two daughters, Ann H. Taylor (Mike) and Karen H. Allen (Chad); two brothers, John Wray, Jr. (Cathy) and William Wray (Gaynelle) and a number of nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 29 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
