Allen R. Guy

Allen R. Guy, 67, of Skippers, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020. He is survived by his son, David Allen Guy (Dawn Callahan); daughter, Tammy Guy Moseley (Caleb); grandchildren, Brittany Carroll, Tristan Council and Camryn Council; sister, Darlene Stepp; brothers, Benny Guy (Paula) and Lewis Guy (Debbie) and six nieces and nephews.
Allen is also survived by his longtime companion, Peggy Loveless and her family, daughters, Nikki Rhinehart (Billy) and Lynn Jones (Ricky); sons, Glenn Taylor and Scotty Loveless, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 8 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd., Jarratt, Virginia where the family will receive friends 12-2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends and family at other times at the home of Allen’s son, David, 2997 Rolling Acres Rd, Emporia, Virginia.
