Alise Fuller Wrenn

Alise Fuller Wrenn, 94, of Emporia, widow of William T. “Buck” Wrenn passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026. She was born October 24, 1931, daughter of the late Paul W. and Cornelia J. Fuller. She was also preceded in death by her four sisters and two brothers.

Throughout her life Alise’s faith in the Lord was the foundation of her life. It guided her in everything she did and showed in the ways she loved and served others. Her love for God was something she passed to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and beyond. She never hesitated to share her love for Christ with everyone she met, she planted so many seeds of faith everywhere she went. Alise considered her family one of God’s greatest blessings to her. She devoted her life to loving them, praying for them, and leading them to Christ. She treasured every moment of being surrounded by her family, and found immense joy in watching her family grow. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and life rooted in Christ.

Alise is survived by two daughters, June W. Jones (Sam) and Kathy W. Moseley (Warren); two sons, William T. “Billy” Wrenn, Jr. (Cindy) and Jeff S. Wrenn (Alison); six grandchildren, Brad C. Jones, Chris Moseley, Brandy Wood (Tony), Brian Moseley (Courtney), April W. Wright (Jason) and Nicholas Wrenn (Wendy); eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and one more on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 16 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service 12:30 – 2 p.m.
