Judith Carole Steadman

Judith Carole Steadman, 71, of Stony Creek, passed away Monday, April 25, 2016. She is survived by her nephew, Judson Simpson of Elizabeth City, NC and her devoted friend, Jan Bostwick of Stony Creek. Miss Steadman was the daughter of the late Preston and Nellie Steadman and was also preceded in death by her sister, Martha Simpson. A memorial service, led by Pastor Dan Armstrong will be held 2 p.m. Friday, April 29 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4355 Cox Rd., Glen Allen, Virginia 23060.
