Debra Brown Sheffield

Debra Brown Sheffield, 60, of Waverly, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Horace W. and Marjorie S. Brown and was also preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Brown. She is survived by her husband, Keith Sheffield; two daughters, Stephanie Kitchen and wife, Emily and Brandy Harville and husband, Justin; five grandchildren, Megan Kitchen and fiance', Jay, Katherine Kitchen, Cassandra Kitchen, Tanner Harville and Colton Harville; two great-grandchildren, Kerrington Kitchen and Harrison Austin; sisters, Sherryl Laing and husband, Gordon, Christy Pritchard and husband, Pat; Lisa Brown and companion, Bob and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-7:30 Wednesday, March 16 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where a memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, March 17. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Kidney Foundation or to the Stony Creek Volunteer Rescue Squad.
