Augustine Davis "Tina" Hallingshead

Augustine Davis “Tina” Hallingshead, 66, of Emporia, widow of James “Gene” Hallingshead, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 at her home. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Dowanna “Dee” Powell; her son, Clayton Wayne Hallingshead; three grandchildren, Charles David Martin, Brian Joseph Martin and Emerson Blake Carroll; four great-grandchildren, Harleigh, Aden, Abby and Colton James; four sisters, Kathy Handsom, Joyce Delbridge, Patsy Williams and Margaret Ann and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 16 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
