Maxine Daughtry "Miss Cookie" House

Maxine Daughtry “ Miss Cookie” House, 74, of Emporia, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015. She was preceded in death by one son, Lee House and a brother, Pete Daughtry. She is survived by her husband, Percy House; daughter, Bonnie House Ransone and husband, Randy; son, “Moose” House; two grandchildren, Steven House, II and Garnette Maxine Ransone. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct 14 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:30 p.m.
