Ruby Abernathy Bain Lee

Ruby Abernathy Bain Lee passed away Thursday September 3, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of Dinwiddie County, where she was born and raised on a farm. She was a farmer’s wife who raised her family on the farm. She was a gracious hostess serving many meals to family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands John Francis Bain and Ernest B. Lee and her brothers and sisters, James, Percy, Floyd, John Clyde, Mildred, and Alice Ann. She is survived by a son, John Francis “Johnny” Bain Jr. and wife Debbie, a daughter Bonnie Sue Bain Thompson and husband Dennis, stepchildren, Ernest Lee, Jr., David Lee and Janet Lee Bowen, grandchildren, Erin Bain and Andrew Bain, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins and good friends, Marsha and John Robert Fraser, Ollie Walker, Carrie Robinson, and Marie and Ardy Robinson. The funeral service is 3:30 p.m. Sunday, September 6 at Asbury United Methodist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt.
