Joseph H. "Joe" Doyle

Joseph H. “Joe” Doyle, 80, of Emporia, widower of Rosa D. Doyle, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 at his home. He is survived by one son, Joey Doyle and wife, Terri; daughter, Kathy D. Pearson and husband, Robert; three grandsons, R. Jock Doyle, Payton Doyle and Chase Pearson; great-grandson, Jonas Doyle and a brother Gene W. “Mike” Doyle and wife, Shirley. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 17. Interment will follow at Emporia Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
