Hugh D. Drake

Mr. Hugh D. Drake, Jr., 68, of Lawrenceville, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Laura C. Drake; son, Wesley D. Drake and wife, Gretchen; two daughters, Anita Colby and husband, Jeff and Tracy Drake; five grandchildren, Amber Colby, Tess Colby, Dylan Drake, Erik Alford and Zachary Goodwyn; one sister, Martha Ann Holland and husband, Kelly and nieces, Debra Turner and Kim Morris. Mr. Drake was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Drake. A graveside funeral service will be held 12 Noon Friday, October 31 at Maitland Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10-11:30 a.m. prior to the service at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd., Jarratt, Virginia 23867.
