Richard L. "Pineapple" Stivers

Richard L. “Pineapple” Stivers, 61, of Petersburg, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014. Survivors include his wife, Patricia B. Stivers; son, Eric Stivers of New Port Richey, FL; stepdaughter, Margaret M. Johnson of Columbia, Virginia; ten grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, June 21 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd. Jarratt, Virginia where the family will receive friends prior to the service 1-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Petersburg Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 882, P.O. Box 888, Petersburg, Virginia 23803.
