Lorraine W. Norwood

Lorraine W. Norwood, 73, of Emporia, widow of Shelton A. “Sonny” Norwood, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Lynch; son, Shelton A. Norwood; two granddaughters, Ashley and Kaitlyn Lynch; two sisters, Mary Poarch and Joyce Moore and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, January 17 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Greensville Memorial Cemetery.
