Nellie Finch Bryant

Nellie Finch Bryant, 82, of Emporia, widow of Raymond L. Bryant, Sr. passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014. She is survived by her children, Raymond Bryant, Jr. (Twyla), Dennis W. Bryant and Sandra Bryant Noel (Bruce); her grandchildren, James Bryant (Susan), Michael Bryant (Jessica), Allison Noel Hayes (Bert) and five great-grandchildren, her brothers, Roy Finch and Taylor Finch and sister, Lizzie Williams. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, January 5, at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or to Grace Community Fellowship Church.
