George David "Dave" Slagle, Jr.

George David ‘Dave” Slagle, Jr., 59, of Emporia, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Betty Link Slagle; son, George David Slagle, III, two brothers, Kenneth Slagle and Stuart Slagle, Sr.; three brothers-in-law, Billy Link, Randy Link and Tommy Link; three sisters-in-law, Linda Link, Sarah Link and Connie Slagle; nine nieces; two nephews; eight great-nieces and eight great-nephews. Dave was the son of the late George David Slagle, Sr. and Margaret Bryant Slagle and was also preceded in death by a brother, Chris Slagle. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec 20 at Owen Funeral Home.
