Clifton H. "Shorty" Williams

Clifton H. “Shorty” Williams, 68, of Emporia, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Mamie Fay Bailey Williams; son, Clifton H. Williams, II and wife, Carol of Mechanicsville and a sister, Peggy Grizzard and husband, Todd of Valentines. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Zion Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp 1779 Emporia P.O.
