Margaret Williams Hitchcock

Margaret W. Hitchcock, 81, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013. She was daughter of the late William A. and Ruby Chappell Williams and was preceded in death by all nine of her siblings. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, William Rainey “W. R.” Hitchcock; son Thomas Rainey Hitchcock and wife, Loretta; daughter Karen Hitchcock Meyer and husband, Rolf; three grandchildren, Brittany, Nickolas and Joshua and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept 5 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia 23867. The funeral service will be held graveside 2 p.m. Friday, September 6 at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery.
