Jason Morris Tomlin

Jason Morris Tomlin, 35, of Emporia, passed away Friday, August 2, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Lynn Tomlin; children, Makayla Tomlin, Evaan Saaski-Tomlin, Brittany Tomlin-Jacobs and Jason Tomlin Jr.; his mother, Kelly T. Hamilton; step-father, Linwood Hamilton; two brothers, William Tomlin and Keith Tomlin and wife, “Pip”; two nephews, Nate Tomlin and Zach Tomlin; a number of aunts and uncles including Chris Gurganus, Jamie Rooker and husband, Mike; and members of the Miller Family. Jason was preceded in death by his father, Gleason “Jimmy” Tomlin. The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Thursday, August 8 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the funeral service will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, August 8. Interment will follow at Greensville Memorial Cemetery.
