Nathan "Nat" Sexton

Nathan “Nat” Sexton, 50, of Emporia, died suddenly on Monday, July 8, 2013 at his home. He was preceded in death by a sister, Amanda Sexton. He leaves to cherish his memories; his parents, James and Claudette Sexton; two sisters, Jackie (Alberto) and Mollie (Bill); nephews, Christopher, Jason and Mason Sexton; a great niece, Ameerah Sexton and great-nephews, Christian and Jyden Sexton; many friends who loved him, including two step-nephews, Tony and Alberto. He loved spending time outdoors and playing with his great niece and great nephews who will greatly miss him. The family will receive friends 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd., Jarratt, Virginia. The funeral service will be held graveside 2 p.m. Thursday, July 11 at Emporia Cemetery.
