Leonard V. "Buddy" Powell

Leonard V. "Buddy" Powell, 73, of Emporia, passed away, Monday, June 10, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Emma Mitchell Powell of Emporia; daughter, Laci P. Lynch and husband, Jonathan; grandchildren, David and Emily; all of Jarratt; a sister, Ann Stainback of Emporia; a brother, Bobby Powell of Richmond and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 11 at Owen Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 12. Interment will follow at Greensville Memorial Cemetery.
