Lillian Braswell Hallingshead

Lillian Braswell Hallingshead, 87, widow of James Emerson Hallingshead, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013. She is survived by two sons; James E. “Gene” Hallingshead and wife, Tina of Emporia and Arthur David Hallingshead and wife, Glenda of Charlottesville; two daughters, Eileen Clary and husband, Roger and Nancy McKee and husband, Leonard, all of Fayetteville, NC; seven grandchildren, Dowanna Powell, Clayton W. Hallingshead, Bobby Hallingshead, Kristina Price, Jamie McKee, Jason McKee and Trent Clary ; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 1 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013. Interment will follow at Greensville Memorial Cemetery.
