May 30, 1924 — December 3, 2012
James Edward Tomlinson, 88, of Emporia, died Monday, December 3, 2012. He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Keeter of Cove City, NC and Donna Tomlinson of Emporia; one son, Edward Tomlinson, also of Emporia; two grandchildren, Brianna Tomlinson and C. J. Tomlinson; three sisters, Elsie Winfield, Nellie Prince and Mildred Rawlings. Mr. Tomlinson was preceded in death by a son, Chris Tomlinson. The funeral service will be held graveside 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Greensville Memorial Cemetery.
