Chris Slagle, 50, of Emporia, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012. He is survived by his father, George D. Slagle and three brothers. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Interment will be private at Greensville Memorial Cemetery.
