Gene Ellis

Harry Lee “Gene” Ellis, 76, died Friday, August 31, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Seaborn Ellis; daughter, Peggie Ellis Owen and husband, Charles; two granddaughters, Megan O. Holloway and husband, Billy and Abbey B. Owen; a sister, Shirley Sundquist and a brother, Robert “Bobby” Ellis. The family will receive friends at his home in Sussex. The funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia. Interment will follow at Hunting Quarter Cemetery.
