Mitchell "Buddy" Hughes

Mitchell R. “Buddy” Hughes, 77, of Skippers, died Friday, May 25, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Martha “Jackie” Hughes; son, Michael Hughes and wife, Kathleen; daughters, Danielle H. Dillow and husband, Eric, Judy H. Edwards and husband, Larry and Denene H. Lofland and husband, Lee three grandchildren, Brandon Hughes, Jennifer Edwards and Christopher Fowler and wife, Stephanie; four nieces, Jean Farmer and husband, Sam, Kathy Reams and husband, Don, Debbie Williams and husband, Dennis and Wanda Reams and husband, John and nephew, E. W. Gurganus, Jr. and wife, Barbara. A graveside funeral service, led by Pastor John Kinsey, was held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Greensville Memorial Cemetery.
