Linwood Earl "Squirrel" Moore

Linwood Earl “Squirrel” Moore, 55, of Emporia, died Thursday, March 22, 2012. Survivors include his wife, Debbie C. Moore; daughter, Jennifer M. Moore; son, Linwood E. Moore, Jr., sister, Barbara Jones and husband, Russell; two brothers, Franklin B. “Duke” Moore, Sr. and wife, Patsy and John Wayne Moore and wife, Deanna and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Moore was the son of the late Sanford and Ruby R. Moore and was also preceded in death by a brother, Sanford Moore, Jr. The funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia where the family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at High Hills Memorial Cemetery.
