Marion Scott Davis

Marion Scott Davis, 63, of Jarratt, died Monday, March 05, 2012. She worked as radiology receptionist at Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center until failing health intervened. She was the daughter of the late James Robert Scott, Jr. and Pauline Vincent Scott. Survivors include two sons, Chris Scott and wife Laura of Freeman, Virginia and Bo Scott and wife, Nancy of Jarratt; six grandchildren, Nikol, Michelle, Vikki, Kasey, Kristen and Reece Scott; two brothers, James R. Scott, III and wife, Louise and Michael W. Scott and wife, Sherry. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd. Jarratt, Virginia where the family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Crater Community Hospice, 3916 S. Crater Rd, Petersburg, VA 23805 or to VCU Massey Cancer Center, P.O. Box 980304, Richmond, VA 23235.
